About the project

We were appointed to supply this series of galvanised planters to be positioned on this refurbished roof terrace at the City of Westminster College, London.

The brief was for the planters to be in their natural pre-galvanised finish. To achieve this, no external welding could be applied therefore the corners were folded inwards so any welding could be applied internally.

The material used was 2mm thick and after fabrication each were coated with a hard wearing clear lacquer finish.

Each included a folded lip detail with drainage holes in the base and support channels equally spaced to provide sufficient support.
