About the project

A stunning Obelisk sculpture in 316 Grade Stainless Steel painstakingly polished to a mirrored finish for a private residence in Surrey.  

A mechanical ground fixing was not allowed and at 2.4m high, the obelisk was potentially unstable. To overcome this complex design challenge, we developed an internal water tank positioned within the base of the obelisk.

This tank could then be filled with water to provide sufficient ballast that could then be drained should the obelisk need to be relocated.

This feature perfectly demonstrates our ability to overcome challenging design issues with creative thinking, perfectly executed.
