Cantilevered aluminium pergola structure with brass detailing manufactured for The Parsley Box Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021.

About the project

Commissioned by Landform Consultants, this project involved the manufacture of a bespoke cantilevered pergola structure for The Parsley Box Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021. The design incorporated concealed horizontal framework below the finished surface, allowing each frame to be supported by just two upright sections while maintaining a clean and minimal appearance.

The structure was fabricated from aluminium box section to achieve crisp square-edged detailing throughout. All mechanical fixings were countersunk and concealed, while socket and sleeve connections were used to create a seamless finish across the framework. Polished brass collar details were incorporated at each joint, providing contrast against the powder coated aluminium structure and adding refinement to the overall design.
