A series of Corten Water Features for a newly built, contemporary residence in Cambridgeshire.

Beautiful seamless still water features in the grounds of this stunning private residence in the picturesque Cambridgeshire countryside.
Still water pools rely on being perfectly level to maintain a consistent level of water within. Adjustable feet were added to raise or lower as necessary, a complex detail on a flat bottomed but watertight tank.
Just under 3m in length and measuring 0.6m Wide and 0.7m High, the combined weight exceeded 1.25 tons. Strategic bracing maintained the rigidity of the feature in just 3mm thick material.
A closed fold or Dutch fold on the top edge provided necessary rigidity but also the aesthetics of much thicker material.
As a Water Feature, all parts were fully welded then dye tested to ensure a perfectly watertight construction. The Corten material was shot blasted to provide a more uniformed and accelerated patination.
