Corten sculptural monolith panels manufactured for a contemporary private residence in Cambridgeshire.

About the project

Designed to introduce bold architectural form within the landscape, these sculptural monolith structures were manufactured for the garden of a contemporary private residence in the Cambridgeshire countryside.

Each monolith measured approximately 2.7 metres high and was fabricated from 10mm corten steel. The structures incorporated 400mm x 400mm base plates bolted directly to concealed concrete foundations below finished floor level, providing stability while maintaining a clean and minimal appearance above ground.

Following fabrication, all material was shot blasted to create a consistent surface finish and promote an accelerated and uniform corten patination across the panels.
