Decorative Laser Cut Elements

Bespoke laser cut pattern on panels to rendered walls and raised planters

About the project

We were delighted to be given the opportunity to design the metalwork elements in this courtyard garden for a property refurbishment in Wimbledon, London.

A bespoke decorative laser cut pattern was developed to the clients brief which was then adapted to the various elements of the garden all to be fabricated from aluminium.

These included a freestanding panel over 2.1m high cut from 10mm thick material concealing the garden entrance behind.

Wall panels were laser cut from 3mm aluminium with the same pattern scaled to suit. Lit from below, spacers between the panel and rendered wall behind added 3 dimensional interest and shadow.

The pattern was again scaled to produce panels that would be affixed to the raised planters in the garden built from block work with a rendered finish.

All elements were powder coated in RAL 7036 Platinum Grey with a matt finish.
