Beautiful lead wrapped planters in various sizes and shapes for an exclusive hotel courtyard in Covent Garden, London.

About the project

We were commissioned to supply a large selection of bespoke planters, circular, cubes and troughs, to be in a lead finish.

We developed a completely new method of manufacture for this project. Each included a stainless steel inner liner that was then wrapped in lead by artisan lead fabricators.

This system allowed a thinner code/gauge of lead to be used as it no longer had to be self-supporting.

This provided not only significant savings in material costs, but it also provided large weight savings and has been repeated many times for applications where traditional lead planters would prove prohibitively heavy.
