Bespoke planters for a public space in Dublin from polished stainless steel with integral liner and drainage system
About the project
We were commissioned to fabricate a series of bespoke Stainless Steel Planters to be positioned outside a refurbished Office Building in Dublin’s Central Business District.
Within the planter was mounted a water tight liner with drainage plumbed to specific outlets to prevent any unsightly staining to the hard landscaping below.
A folded lip detail around the top edge of the planter was included as were adjustable feet mounted in the base to ensure the planter could be precisely positioned onto brick built plinths.
The material chosen was 2mm thick Stainless Steel grade 316 which once fabricated was polished with a grained finish.
