Large scale perimeter planters to encompass established trees on this prestigious pedestrian area on the corner of Hyde Park and Piccadilly, London.

About the project

We were commissioned to design and manufacture an edging planter system suitable to fit around the established trees on this pedestrian area in the prestigious area of Hyde Park and Piccadilly in the heart of London.

Each was to measure 2.5m x 2.5m x 0.6m high designed to be bolted together to form a complete perimeter bolted to a concrete foundation around the base.

The planters were made from galvanised mild steel, featuring a formed top lip detail, continuous base plate and strengthening gusset plates equally spaced. The chosen finish was a hard wearing Powder Coated finish in RAL 9005 matt Black.
