Bespoke heritage plaques for Battersea Power Station, designed to present historical information through engraved stainless steel panels across the development.

About the project

Information plaques supplied for the Battersea Power Station redevelopment, designed to communicate the site’s history to a high volume of visitors across the development.

Each plaque comprises a powder coated mild steel mounting system with an engraved stainless steel panel bonded to the face. The stainless steel panels were manufactured from 3mm material, engraved and ink-filled to achieve a crisp, high-contrast finish suitable for detailed text and graphics.

Mounting systems were developed to suit a range of installation conditions, allowing the plaques to be fixed to columns, plinths and railings throughout the interior while maintaining consistency across the scheme.
