Seven bespoke galvanised steel planters manufactured in three sizes to fit between the brick columns of a riverside restaurant in Hammersmith.
About the project
Manufactured for Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith, these seven bespoke steel planters were developed with Charlotte Rowe Garden Design to fit between the brick columns of the restaurant overlooking the River Thames. Three different planter sizes were required to accommodate the individual spaces across the building frontage.
A key requirement of the project was achieving an accurate fit between the existing columns. Precise site measurements were therefore used to establish the dimensions of each planter and ensure the completed units could be positioned correctly within the available spaces.
The planters were fabricated from 1.5mm galvanised steel, providing corrosion protection and reducing ongoing maintenance requirements in their external location. Following fabrication, each planter was powder coated in RAL 9004 Black to provide the specified finished appearance.
