About the project
Developed for The Hub at Farnborough Business Park, this project involved the design and fabrication of a free-standing pergola canopy for a listed Art Deco building.
Working within the constraints of the building, the 7.6m structure was engineered to stand independently of the existing façade. The canopy was supplied in kit form for on-site assembly, allowing accurate installation within the site constraints.
The metalwork was detailed to integrate timber cross-sections within the structure, forming part of a coordinated architectural solution while maintaining a clean and consistent finish.
