A series of bespoke powder coated planters and a patinated galvanised water feature manufactured for an award-winning private residential garden in Hertfordshire.
About the project
Commissioned by The Garden Co, this project involved the manufacture of eight large-scale bespoke planters for a private residence in Hertfordshire. Produced in a range of sizes, each planter incorporated a 30mm x 20mm lip detail, drainage provision and adjustable feet to allow accurate levelling during installation.
The planters were fabricated from galvanised steel before being powder coated RAL 7012 Basalt Grey in a matt finish. Where planter dimensions exceeded practical manufacturing and transport limitations, the units were divided into sub sections designed to bolt together below the planting surface, maintaining a clean and seamless finished appearance.
Alongside the planters, a bespoke hot dipped galvanised water feature with integrated outlet detail was also manufactured as part of the wider garden scheme. The water feature was finished with a patinated treatment to develop a more natural aged appearance within the landscape setting.
