Raised planting defined by Corten steel landscape edging, developed to complement both the hard and soft landscaping within a private garden scheme.
About the project
Developed in collaboration with David Loy of Your Garden Design, this scheme incorporated both Series 2 and Series 3 edging systems in Corten steel to define raised planting areas within the overall garden layout.
The edging system was adapted to suit varying lengths, radii and heights, allowing the installation to respond precisely to the geometry of the scheme. Structural stability was achieved through base plates and welded gusset supports, with all elements fixed to concrete foundations.
The use of Corten steel provides a durable material that naturally patinates over time, allowing the edging to integrate with both the hard and soft landscaping while maintaining a consistent and robust finish.
